SONY ERICSSON OPEN LAUNCHES MOBILE APPLICATION, PRESENTED BY SAP

MIAMI, Fla. (www.sonyericssonopen.com) – The Sony Ericsson Open has launched the Sony Ericsson Open (SEO) Mobile App, presented by SAP (NYSE: SAP), the market leader in enterprise application software. The app will offer followers around the world the latest news and live scores during the two-week tournament held March 21-April 3. The mobile application is compatible with the Android and iOS platforms and can be downloaded for free.

The SEO Mobile App will feature the latest mobile content including schedules of upcoming matches, the men’s and women’s draws, and the option to view live scores and completed matches. SAP has worked with Sony Ericsson and the ATP World Tour to deliver real-time data feeds to help ensure the latest information is available through the app. For matches in progress, the scores will emulate a real scoreboard in the stadium as it will display details such as who is serving, nationality, sets and score.

The mobile application will allow tennis enthusiasts to view in-depth player pages with vital and historic stats. Statistics information will range from common tennis stats to more unique ones including Aces, Double Faults, Points to Serve, Break points played and Break points converted.
