63 Hours of Coverage On 3 Networks

Sony Ericsson Open tennis fans in the U.S. will be able to watch a record 63 hours of domestic coverage of this year’s tournament on Fox Sports Net, Tennis Channel and CBS. A total of 61 hours of that coverage will be live, beginning on Saturday, March 27 at 1:00 pm on FSN, and concluding with the men’s final on Sunday, April 4 at 1:00 pm on CBS (complete schedule below).

To see all the action in person, tickets to the Sony Ericsson Open are on sale now and can be purchased by phone (305-442-3367) or via the internet at www.sonyericssonopen.com. The two weeks of tennis conclude with the women's final on Saturday, April 3 and the men's final on Sunday, April 4.

The men’s and women’s finals will be broadcast live from the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in Miami on CBS. The women's final is scheduled for Saturday, April 3, at 12:30 p.m. eastern, and the men are scheduled to play their championship match on Sunday, April 4, at 1:00 p.m.

FSN will kick-off coverage on Saturday, March 27 at 1:00 p.m. with a five-hour live broadcast of both men's second round and women's third round matches. FSN’s coverage will conclude Friday, April 2 with live coverage of both men's semi-final matches. The first semi-final will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the nightcap starting at 7:00 p.m. In all, FSN will broadcast 37 hours of live tennis from Miami.

The Tennis Channel will have coverage of the tournament from Sunday, March 28 to Friday, April 1, at various times and for various durations, including a marathon 12 hours from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30. A total of 22 hours of coverage will be provided by the cannel.

Last year, the Sony Ericsson Open had over 2,000 hours of matches broadcast worldwide to more than 153 million viewers.
